No need to apologize to me for the 'preachiness' of this chapter. I see you and I are in pretty close agreement about the lengths someone will go to in order to avoid changing their world view. Also that the idea of "earning your way into heaven" is ludicrous in the extreme. As St. Paul said, if that was the case who among us could be saved?
