It occured to me after I wrote my response that it looks as though I was laying blame for any/all tensions regarding Spuffy/Bangel on the Duck side of the equation which wasn't my intention. It was just another example of fandom behavior over the summer which made me wish to bang my head repeatedly on a desk.
