I taped "Dead and Deader" off the Sci-Fi Channel last night and watched it after church this afternoon, because much as I loathe most of those "Monster of the Week" pseudo-sci-fi cheese-fests, I still adore Dean Cain for his work on "Lois and Clark".
And besides, this one was kind of fun, with more tongue-in-cheek pop culture and movie references than you could shake a stick at. Dean Cain may not be quite in "Superman/Clark Kent" shape anymore, but he's still got that laid-back, effortless-seeming shy charm and intelligence that just makes him really, really likable and comfortable to watch.
( slight spoiler risk, due to passing plot similarity between 'Dead and Deader' and an episode of SG1 )
