You know what happens when you dump a can of white peach halves in light syrup into a big pyrex serving saver, throw in the last of your frozen red raspberries, and then let the container sit by your desk until 1:30 PM when you finally have time to stop for lunch?
The white peaches take on a lovely mauve/lavender/purple blush, ranging from a glowing sort of pale pinky-purple to this shade of purple to this shade of purple.
Oh, and they taste really good, too. But with a big bowl full of blushing white peaches and dark plum-colored raspberry sauce, the tastiness is almost an after-thought.
