revdorothyl at 06:50pm on 27/04/2010My sister just emailed me to let me know that my mother -- who just celebrated her 74th birthday on Saturday -- slipped and fell on the treadmill in their senior apartment complex fitness center yesterday morning, and now has to have her arm in a sling for quite a while.
Poor Mom! But at least in their current living situation she and Dad can eat their meals in the complex dining room, if she's not up to cooking one-handed or my sister's not able to be around to help out. I'm happier than ever that my folks made that move last December.
