I didn't see Smallville, so I can't help you out with that. But I think you should by all means use the VCR in the bedroom. That's hardly decadence, though! Although I don't have a TV in my bedroom. Just a laptop with a wireless connection so I can DL shows and watch DVDS. Poor me!

Speaking of DVDs, Nausicaa arrived! I'll finally get to see it this weekend.
