Confessions of a Liberal Puritan

I may've been overly harsh in my judgment of "BloodRayne", because the quality of the cinematography and actors involved led me to suspect something much closer to "Highlander" crossed with "Underworld", and instead I got a fancy-looking but run-of-the mill computer-game with characters so wooden that they make those Sci-Fi Channel Saturday night cheap-o monster flicks look like Shakespeare.

However, I'm sort of glad I saw it when I did, since it was only in the theaters here for a single week, and I'd have probably felt deprived if I'd missed the opportunity to see it for myself.
