LJ is sucking particularly hard today

In case anyone is wondering where the promised second half of my WriterCon odyssey is, I just spent the entire afternoon writing that post (without saving it to a document, for my sins!), only to have LJ lose it all completely as soon as I hit "Post".

I've had that happen once before (losing all of a long, carefully thought out post), but it was years ago, and even after LJ was acting up on Friday I didn't take the simple precaution of copying my post to a word document before trying to get LJ to put it up.
