The TV in front of my favorite exercycle was still broken tonight, and I was getting a crick in my neck from trying to read the subtitles on "Lie to Me" playing on the TV to my far left, so I just hunkered down and tried to see how fast I could pedal and how quickly I could finish my ride.
Turns out, that's the best motivation yet to pedal hard and fast, and I finished in record time (for me).
Can't complain, though -- I spent two wonderful hours over a very extended lunch break this noon taking a docent-guided tour of the Golden Age of Couture travelling exhibition from the Victoria and Albert Museum, currently on display at the Frist Gallery. So, I reckon I had my fill of looking at pretties earlier today (heck, they even had a few minutes of "Funny Face" with Audrey Hepburn playing on one of the monitors along the way!).
