At the risk of my sour grapes showing, I see that the stupid, meaningless poll about the favorite TV couples of the past (in this case, limited to the past decade only) has Buffy/Spike of BtVS trailing behind Jack and Kate from Lost, who are in turn trailing behind the front runners: Michael and Sarah from Prison Break.
Apparently the Prison Break fans are out in force -- or just able to focus their votes, since they only have one nominated couple to choose from, while the Lost fans have only two options, whereas BtVS and AtS fans can split their three daily votes among Willow/Tara, Buffy/Angel, and Wesley/Fred, in addition to or instead of Buffy/Spike, if they wish.
So, it's stupid and meaningless and not worth giving a moment's thought to (no, really, I'm pretty sure those unreachable grapes up on that high branch really are too sour to eat!), but voting is open until Jan. 10th, I think, so . . .

Darn straight. Being the most popular pairing of all the Buffyverse pairs, which are (I would argue) from the most enduring series on the list is more than enough honor. The Lost and Prison Break people have so little to be proud of or invested in, any longer, that I suppose it'd be petty and cruel to deprive them.
