exploring dreamwidth for the first time

Miss Murchison just invited me to join Dreamwidth, and this is just a trial post to see how this differs from LiveJournal. I hope to find my way around here soon.

This site has some pretty amazing features. Check out the bar on the left-hand side of the profile page. There's an import option that will let you bring stuff over from LJ. You can copy your whole LJ over here, as well as icons, and you can automatically give access here to everyone who is on your friends list over there.
