I'm sure everyone's already seen this recent column suggesting a resurrection of the Buffyverse, but just in case you haven't, here it is.
And for those who just want to go straight to the "vote for the character you'd most like to see brought back in some new Buffyverse TV incarnation" part, here's the poll.
Results are supposed to be available on March 19, I believe. Vote early, vote often (if you have multiple PC's, of course).
For myself, I'd love to see the human-Spike-and-Giles-run-a-detective-agency-in-England-with-swirly-wool-coats idea suggested by
deborahmm become a real, live TV show. A girl can dream, can't she?

It would be loverly, though, wouldn't it?

For Giles and Spike wearing swirly coats.
As Alan Jay Lerner notes,
"Oh, wouldn't it be loverly?"
Sexy older guys who snipe and snark,
But are always up for another lark,
And so handy in the dark,
Oh, wouldn't it be loverly?
Oh, so loverly watching Giles and Spikey on a tear.
Add Diana Rigg to the mix, and you know that I'll be there!
Someone's tweed hanging by the door,
Reminding you what a partner's for.
Two blokes whom we adore,
Oh, wouldn't it be loverly? Loverly! Loverly.

Wouldn't that be paradise? Ripper's been floating around as a proposal for ages, I gather. I'd take anything with that pair, anything at all, and buy the merchandising, too.

If only TV reality were as interesting as our fantasy/fanfic visions!
