All the folks in the Divinity Library here seem to have already seen this site months ago (though nobody thought to forward the link to ME -- *sniff!*), but I just got this link from a friend today, and -- if you like a good literary-criticism or Biblical Source-Criticism parody -- it's a hoot and a half:

As I struggle to convince my undergraduate students that YES, they DO need to know about the J, E, P, and D (and possibly also R) sources in the Pentateuch (Genesis thru Deuteronomy) -- that their lives will NOT be complete unless they know about this stuff (or at least, that they won't be able to get an "A" on the first exam unless they know about this stuff) -- I really NEEDED a good laugh. Enjoy!

Especially since those alphabet-soup OT sources always gave me a headache! I'd never have gotten an "A" in one of your courses.
In fact, Religion was consistently my worst subject (after driver's ed, gym and ballet, of course) all the way through college. It accounted for the only D's of my elementary school career.
I hope you still love me after that admission! And I'm sure I would have done better with you as a teacher.
to an "A" student:
In fact, I'll give you extra credit right now for your fanfic series "Secret as the Grave" and "Chiaroscuro" -- those qualify as "A+" term paper projects in any religion course I'd teach! Go ahead, put that "A+" on your refrigerator -- you deserve it, Miss M.
