You weren't wrong, it was so painful, so very painful. Interestingly, BloodRayne 2, which is set in the old west, is much better. The opening is actually kinda, almost good, but then it falls apart and gets bad quick.

I started to watch "BloodRayne 2" on TV, but gave up on it about 1/4 of the way through, when it seemed to be heading downhill fast.

I've caught bits and pieces of the 'original' BloodRayne on TV since I wrote my initial review, and those brief glimpses confirmed my initial opinion that it was un-watchable tripe, and that only my innate desire to 'be nice' made me second-guess my bad review.
