No apologies necessary for this brilliant bit of character study. I've never really watched Xena but I was able to follow along decently nonetheless.

I loved the way you weaved the two mythologies together. Buffy/Xena's returning memories about her decisions was a wonderful reveal technique.

Oh, the consequences of Michael's intended compassion. So sad and yet lovely. Free will, the wild card in the deck, and yet the source of all that is truly good. Please don't let this be your last fanfic.

Thanks so much for the great feedback! Your encouragement to continue writing is much appreciated, and I'm eager to keep it up, now that I've found how kind and supportive the fanfic community can be to a newbie like myself.
