Has anyone else been struck by the way the Sci-Fi Channel has cut together their promo for "Andromeda"? To my lascivious eyes, their cuts make it look like Dylan is passionately kissing Tyr at the end.

I can't believe how much more interesting and entertaining that makes "Andromeda" seem (compared to the unfortunately pedestrian reality of much of that series so far). I'm fairly sure that's actually a clip of Dylan kissing Elspeth (or whatever the name was of the Nietzchean princess whom Dylan talked out of killing all her prospective in-laws and who ended up apparently quite happily married to the 'decadent' Charlemagne Bolivar -- adorably played by James Marsters), but it looks a LOT like Tyr, in its current context.

I've lost a lot of my interest in "Andromeda" since Keith Hamilton-Cobb left the series, but maybe I should while away the next week (waiting for my test results) by trying to track down some lovely slashy Dylan/Tyr fics? THAT should keep my mind off my troubles. Any recommendations out there? (As Miss Murchison says in one of her icons, "Shame...bad; Sex...good; pretty boys kissing...even better!")

It's the most fun I've gotten from "Andromeda" in a long while! So glad I'm not the only one to notice this. Do you think it's as deliberate as it looks?

I have to believe it's deliberate. My brain can't handle the idea that they could be SO completely oblivious.

The funny thing is, the first time I saw it I sat there, slack jawed and said, "Uh . . ." and my beloved immediately responded, "No, it's not Tyr. It's some princess or something." So we are obviously not alone!
