I finally caught up with this episode today, and liked it more than I expected to, and I think your analysis is right on target. And, although I think Chloe and Clark make a fabulous team, I still went "yay" for the Clark-Lana consummation. When these on-and-off TV relationships drag on and on for years, I always want to tell them, "Just have sex and get it over with."

Saw a brief flash of James in the scenes from upcoming episodes, and you can bet I'm looking forward to his reappearance!

Amen, on the JM reappearance (and love your icon from the SV season premiere)!

And thanks for seconding my opinion of that episode. Last night's episode, by contrast, was cute and funny in parts, but just not that well-written or interesting.
