Faith so rarely gets handled well in film I find the combo of faith and adoptive parents (being an adoptee myself) nearly irresistable. Thanks for the rec!

You're welcome! I didn't necessarily agree with the character's theology, but I loved the fact that it was handled with complexity and serious attention.

[Plus, Colin Firth is incredibly adorable when he's rumpled and sleepless, so . . . bonus!]
