I remembering being little and kissing the television screen every time MacGyver came on and my mother attempting to explain to me that MacGyver was her age. My young heart didn't care. It loved him and it still loves him today.

I still love him too (though I was in graduate school when the series premiered, and so not much younger than your mom and our dear Mac!).
