Confessions of a Liberal Puritan

I seem to have a bit of distance from this. What I enjoy in fanfiction is not what I expect or maybe even like on the shows. As far as a shift in what is being writen is concerned people write what they are inspired to. If don't find what I like I write it myself it may not be any good but the process is enjoyable for me at least.

I've always wished for more het stuff simply because it's what I like to read and I'm a constant reader, not because I dislike some ship or other. I'd also like to see more stuff where the romance is just in the background of a adventure or mystery but no one writes that and when I try to it's crap.
