I've always believed there was both kinds of evil in the world. The kind that's there because of Adam's fall and the demons we invite in. Sometimes bad things happen simply because it's not a perfect world.

I think that things like hatered, fears, addiction, are things that need an invite. That's not to say the blame falls on the person that suffers from these things because we all know how tempting it is to let that pale guy in for coffee and all they need is one foot in.

Thanks, dear friend -- I only wish I'd thought to say that first!

Btw, I found an extra toothpaste in the bathroom when I was packing up, and MissM swears it's not hers. If it's yours, I'll be happy to mail it to you. Just let me know.

(And I'm still kicking myself over not having gotten a redcap to carry your suitcase, as well as the person with the wheelchair, when we got to the airport. I guess my brain can only hold one idea at a time -- "Find wheelchair!" -- and tossed out everything else. I hope you got through to your gate all right, anyway?)

It's kind of a sermon that stuck with me.

When I was eight the district sent an evangelist to our church. She told a very graphic tale of self mutialation and demon possession. This went on and on without any sign she was going to tell about her salvation. She seemed to be enjoying glorifying her past evil. She described driving nails into her own legs and cutting herself. about midway our pastor Brother Bill took her aside and she cursed {as in may God smite you.} us and walked out. Brother Bill finished up asking the kids to come to the front and told us how that kind of evil needed to be invited in and that we were safe from it. This guy was an ex marine if he said you were safe you believed. Then we got to pick the music. I think the district overseer got an earfull about about this lady I'm not so sure her demons were actually gone.

Don't worry about the toothpaste and I got to the gate fine.
