I wonder if we could do it as some sort of morning or afternoon ceremony? It would have to be seriously vague in it's spirituality, given the wide diversity of beliefs and lack thereof but I think it's worth suggesting.

Have you done the feedback survey yet? Please say you're going next year.

Yes, I took the feedback survey already (before this whole 'how do you mourn for online friends and fan writers, when there's no-one to share a casserole with?' issue had occurred to me), and I'm certainly planning to attend next year, unless it's financially or physically impossible for me to get there (which is why I'm hoping for Minneapolis -- where I have fannish friends-of-friends and which is within reasonable driving distance of other cities where I have friends to visit -- rather than a summer visit to Tampa!).

I trust you'll be there, as well?
